Precision Teaching

The goal of precision teaching (PT) is that learned behavior occurs spontaneously and automatically, such as writing, reading, arithmetic, money exchange at the register of the supermarket or even small talk. To make this possible teaching goals are subdivided into short-term objectives. These are practiced across different learning channels and thereby facilitate the long-term objective. Small time units of 10, 30 or 50 seconds are used and students try to get faster with every timing.

The following trailer shows different task types and levels of difficulties, for finemotor skills, matching, writing, receptive and expressive language, as well as beginning understanding of money.

A training in PT is necessary to apply this strategy effectively.
