Prototypes of Tasks:

The following shows various task prototypes, which have been attractive for individual children with ASD. Some young children like to watch items disappear while others prefer to line things up, insert or uncover them. Through the child's preferred task prototypes, basic concepts as well as early reading and math can be taught . We herewith present samples for stacking, inserting and assembling tasks. Shoe-box tasks, lotto's, dominoes, table formation and flip cards are shown. Hopefully you find something your child might like!

With one task type many different skills can be taught just as one skill can be taught across many different prototypes of tasks!
